3 Legs, an accordian and tu…
Well Courtney and Bela have just sent an amazing first shot at the soundtrack. I am just amazed at the creativity that my friends have. Ok this is a pretty advanced layout and right now a little synthy… but man it is soooo beautiful. What kills me are the changes you could put the melody from “Smoke on the Water” over those chords and people would still be squirting them. I love the
Slamdance! Whoo! Hoo!
Got you again. We entered Slamdance. Next up Ann Arbor.
Sundance!!! We are in!!!
OK calm down. Just a little preview of what will be posted on the 8th of December. I entered the festival yesterday… which anybody with 2 frames of film and 50 bucks can do. Still it felt good to hit the enter button.
Final Cut, “I HATE YOU!”
Man… computers are just a major pain in the butt. I know they can do all these amazing things but they are just sooo annoying. Anyway so I am following my friends at Mission Control’s incredibly lucid instructions about just how to get a DVD master out of Final Cut.

THEY ARE NOT THE FINAL RELEASE CUT but still lets just play it safe.

Without a Box for the most part seems to be what I am working with. Being a project from IMDB/Amazon it’s pretty slick and well though out. Short Film Depot is

Mr. Fish… James Fish just sent in an idea for the opening titles. As we say here in Spain, “Es La PUTA MADRE!” Is this project blessed or what. It’s just sooo beautiful. Here it is:

Dean’s Read
I have know Dean McCrea since he used to torment me in the band room of Parkrose high school. He is a big, big man with a very sweet and interesting voice. I love Darrell’s read but Darrell doesn’t. Hmmmm… what to do? Let’s see, I am the big boss, nobody is here to tell me what to do… I could call it good and go make myself a sandwich or I can
